He resurfaces these ideas as an effervescent breeze follows him and continues to impart conflict. These forces are Environment, Relationships, and Social Compass. It’s always a tiny bit pathetic to see grown men who don’t know how to process their emotions, and who project their inner turmoil onto imaginary political opponents.Īnywho, I hope Gareth reads this and grills Dave harder until he has a breakthrough. Hopefully he takes initiative to heal instead of wallowing in the comfort of resentment. Ironically his narrow mindset reminds me of some of the wounded right wingers I know, but he just leans the other direction. He views everyone who isn’t a socialist as stand-ins for his father who withheld love from him, and he has a burning hatred for people he doesn’t know or even try to understand. He wasn’t hugged as a child and so he falls effortlessly into the divisions set up for him by the American political system. He’s great, but it always seems like he’s trying to appease Dave’s half-baked political stances.ĭave’s actually a supremely talented host and has some exceptionally funny moments, although he’s insecure and puts down Gareth who is clearly the genius improv artist. Honestly thought he was a chonker before I looked up his picture. He’s an amazing improv comedian and does good accents and makes laughable funnies on the regular. This is an anti-capitalist podcast with 8-10 minutes of capitalist advertisements at the beginning. Really funny and engaging podcast that makes me chuckle.
